This set is heavily focused on enchantments, graveyards, and survival strategies, introducing a bunch of brand-new gameplay mechanics:

Rooms: Unlock the house of horrors door by door. These split enchantment cards let you cast one side early, and pay mana later to "unlock" the other room for extra power.

Manifest Dread: Look at the top two cards of your library, put one face-down as a 2/2 creature, and send the other to the graveyard to fuel your plays.

Impending: Get massive monsters onto the board early. Cast powerful enchantment creatures for a cheaper alternative cost, they won't be able to attack right away, but you get their devastating abilities immediately.

Survival: Reward your creatures for surviving the night. If your Survivors are tapped at the start of your second main phase, you trigger powerful bonuses.
- Eerie: Capitalise on the supernatural. This ability triggers every single time an enchantment enters your battlefield or a new Room door is unlocked.
